| The Aircraft | |
| One of the most famous post war aeroplanes, this beautiful 1950's fully aerobatic two seat training aircraft was the standard post-war training aircraft for the RAF who received 735 from 1950. The Chipmunk was a worthy successor to the Tiger Moth. Very nice to fly, fully aerobatic, light on the controls and very popular with the RAF pilots who trained on them. Today the Chipmunk remains a very popular sport and private aircraft, while a small number are still used for pilot training and tailwheel endorsements. | |
| The Delta Aviation Chipmunks you will fly in have been renovated mechanically and structurally to pristine flying condition to conform to the public transport airworthiness requirements of the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA). |
