An advanced World War Two US Air Force trainer, the Harvard was used to prepare trainee pilots for fighters like the Spitfire and Mustang, and sometime was used as a fighter itself. Large, smooth and very fast, it is the only Warbird accessible to the public in the UK - availability is limited!

North American P51D Mustang
A fighter classic, the Mustang is an American legend. Powered by the Rolls-Royce Merlin engine and built to a British specification it became the foremost American fighter of World War Two and served in every theatre of operations. Its clean cut lines make it a popular performer at modern air displays. Very limited availablity! Please contact us to arrange a flight.

What you need to know before booking
For our flights you need to be agile, as embarking and disembarking is difficult and requires flexibility. Please be advised our flying experiences may not be suitable for persons who are pregnant, suffer from epilepsy, fits, severe head injuries, recurrent fainting, giddiness or blackouts, high blood pressure, or heart conditions. For their own safety diabetics may be required to produce a medical certificate. No previous flying experience is required. People with disabilities are welcome (subject to the type of disability).

Maximum weight 102kg (16 stones)
Maximum height 1.93m (6ft 4)
Aerobatic limits +6G /-5G (you feel 5 times your weight)
Qualification needed No previous flying experience required
Approx. timing Chock-to-chock airborne time: 15mins to 40mins (check prices) + half an hour for briefings, embarking and certificates. Please allow an additional hour to your chock-to-chock time, and note that the flying days may be disrupted by the weather.
Recommended clothing Soft-soled shoes, gloves when cold weather
Clothing supplied Flying jacket and helmet (open-cockpit aircraft); headset
Still and video cameras Cameras can be taken on the day and used on the ground by guests – even around the planes – but they are prohibited inside the cockpit for safety reasons.
Spectators Additional guests are most welcome to come along on the day and witness your experience. There is no cost.
