Hi. Just thought I would say thank you for a fantastic day at Barton
yesterday in the Tiger Moth. The lesson was a present from my wife
last Christmas which I have only just got round to taking. She will
have to go a long long way to better it this year. The day was made
even better by the pilot and his crew who apart from just taking you
up to fly were very informative about the aircraft and its history.

Would you please on my behalf thank your pilot Mark and all the
staff present to-day at Netherthorpe, Sheffield for the welcome
given to me during my visit to fly in your wonderful Tiger Moth. It
has been a most memorable experience and one I shall always
treasure. I cannot over emphasise the friendliness and
professionalism of all concerned. Very many thanks and hopefully I
look forward to flying with you again. My very best wishes for your
continuing success.

Just to say a very big thank you to all concerned in making my
husbands flight such an enjoyable experience. We recently received
his DVD approximately 4 days ago and he has already relived the
whole thing several times, so once again thank you, special thanks
to Bob the pilot. It was also a great day for all the family to
relax in such nice safe surroundings. Would you please forward a
price list if you have one for any other experiences, I think he's
got the bug to try others. Thanking you

forthcoming months and hope the weather does not hinder you too much

I bought my father a Tiger Moth flight taken at Sywell on 26th July,
and would just like to thank all the guys there for a wonderful
experience. They made it a special day and we now have a really
wonderful memory. Thank you.

I’d like to thank you again for a truly memorable and thoroughly
enjoyable experience, especially for the skills and experience of
‘Capt. Mark’ and all those who keep these wonderful machines in the
air.

On July 12th, thanks to my family, I was able to fulfill a lifetime
ambition, by taking my first flight in your beautiful Tiger Moth at
Sywell. I would like to thank the very helpful ground staff, but
most of all my appreciation goes to Andy, my instructor, for giving
me a most exhilarating experience and the desire and encouragement
to fly again!”

I'd like you to pass on my thanks to your guys at Barton for the
excellent experience in a Tiger Moth today. I had a 25 minute flight
which was brilliant. Please pass on my thanks to Sven and Mr
Chambers (can’t remember his first name). Sven in particular was
extremely accommodating, not just to me but everybody who was flying
and he was very professional in his attitude. Please pass this onto
them as they really do deserve a pat on the back.

I very much enjoyed my flight in Tiger Moth G-AMCK at Sywell a
couple of weeks ago, and also the excellent DVD which came yesterday.

On Sunday 5th June I was given the chance to fly in the "Tiger Moth"
courtesy of my family. I would like to take this opportunity to say
what an amazing experience it was. It was perhaps even more so
because it was the first time I had ever flown. For many years, all
my family and friends have tried to get me to fly but I have always
made excuses. After flying in that beautiful old bird, going up in a
domestic aircraft will be tame by comparison. I would like to end by
offering my heartfelt thanks to everyone for making it such a
special day for me.

I am writing to thank you for, and to say how much I enjoyed, my
flight from Oxford on Saturday 24th, which my children had arranged
to celebrate my 80th birthday. From the moment I arrived at the
airfield to the moment we landed after a memorable experience
everything went smoothly - even the wonderful weather you had
organised! My special thanks must go of course to Mike the pilot who
was friendliness personified. Many thanks to you all.

Having thoroughly enjoyed a Tiger Moth flight at Netherthorpe a week
last Saturday, I am writing to convey my thanks to Delta Aviation. A
special thanks to my pilot Mark for a truly memorable experience.

I had the most exhilarating experience of my life in your Tiger Moth
at Sywell. If I won the lottery I would take flying lessons. Chris
(pilot) made it seem iso easy.”

Just a quick note to thank you all very much for a fabulous morning
flight in the Tiger Moth. I thoroughly enjoyed every second and will
recommend you to all my friends and family. Thank you once again

Some 30 years ago I took my first trial lesson with Brooklands
Avation at Sywell Aerodrome. What a pleasure it was to fly from a
grass airfield once again in a vintage aircraft upon a perfect
summers day.

To all concerned, both my husband and myself would like to thank you
all for making this experience so wonderful, my husband (Peter
Bishop) was really on a high for several days after the event and
since receiving his DVD has already relived it again. From a
spectators point of view it was really nice to be able to sit and
relax in such a safe environment and let the children play around
without having to worry. Please would you send if you have one, a
price list of other experiences, I think he's got the flying bug!!!

I had a fantastic time. Chris made me feel very comfortable, and I

Just wanted to thank the team for giving Keith a super experience.
We were very impressed with the two groundcrew who had to keep us
informed of weather conditions on Thursday 21st June, they were
really good company and interesting to talk to. Your pilot was great
with Keith and he really enjoyed his hour up in the air. We have
enjoyed watching the CD together. What do we do for his 60th?!!
Thanks very much all of you.

I’d like to pass on my thanks to all the crew at Sywell who made my
Tiger Moth flight experience such a thrill on a Saturday afternoon.
They are an enthusiastic friendly bunch, which gave me so much
confidence.

Thank you for the wonderful day experienced by my mother when she
had a flight in a Tiger Moth. She was made to feel special, was
looked after with courtesy and friendliness and altogether enjoyed
her day enormously.

A Special thank you to Mr. John Clark and also my instructor pilot,
Mike who made the experience so enjoyable. They both put me at ease
through the pre-flight briefing which made the whole day so special

From the moment we arrived at the airfield to a very warm greeting
from a charming young lady to the moment we landed after a memorable
experience everything went so smoothly. It certainly revive memories
of my first ever flight, as an ATC Cadet in 1941 also in a Tiger
Moth.

I really can’t say enough about this experience I had in the Tiger
Moth, a dream come true. The plane and the whole outfit will be
talked about at many parties to come….”

I was a little concerned about my father going up as he will be 80
later this year but you were all wonderful and looked after him as
he were Royalty

In 1960, I saw a series of paintings at the Motor Museum at
Beaulieu. I understand they were original art work for covers of the
magazine 'The Aeroplane' that was published nearly 100 years ago.
One depicted an open cockpit aircraft, flying over countryside with
a river snaking away into the distance. That image has haunted me
(in the nicest possible way) for 47 years. Being unable to find a
print of that picture, I settled for one of Roy Garner's painting of
T-7281. Despite being a car fanatic, the second thing I see every
morning, after my dear wife, is a yellow Tiger Moth. Yesterday, (5
August) I lived out my little fantasy, thanks to Chris and K-4259
out of Kidlington. Chris put up with my clumsy handling of his
beautiful aircraft, and my final recourse to the little bag - and
kept smiling - what a professional! If, after that, he wondered why
he did it, let me reassure him that I shall never forget at least,
three things. There was that! oh-so-easy take off - compare that
with the frantic rantings of most aircraft - the Tiger Moth can't
help but fly. Then there was that wonderful view of the country
house through the wing spars of a Tiger Moth. Finally, just as we
passed over Charlbury, there was 'that view' - Oxfordshire fields
with the River Evenlode snaking into the distance - I'd done my
fantasy - thanks again Chris and everybody. Finally, (and this was
lost on Chris) my own little indulgence is a 1961 lotus 7 that I
have owned for 43 years. When I say that a Tiger Moth is a Lotus 7
with wings, that is the highest compliment I can pay it.

Just to thank you for a beautifully presented DVD package of the
Tiger trip I did, which gave really amusing view of our cavorting
round the Surrey hills. The DVD functioned perfectly on my PC, and
captured the patience of fortitude of my instructor as I bobbed
about in front of his view, muttering inanities the while. The Tiger
Moth functioned beautifully, and gave an insight into what an ideal
machine it was for training our wartime pilots, ab initio. It was a
real refresher for me, and although I had been spoilt by using cabin
types, I found the experience really absorbing. Many, many thanks.

I feel I must thank you and indeed your staff for a truly wonderful

I cannot sing the praise of this day more. It was a fantastic day
out and everyone who came along said it was one of the best days out
they had had in a long time. The setting for the experience was
lovely; it was a beautiful setting and really made the day as you
could wait for your flight in comfort. The flight itself was a once
in a lifetime opportunity. The people who took part loved it and I
know I would go back again anytime. I will be recommending this as a
great gift to all my friends. Thank you so much."
